Hemp seed oil's fatty-acid profile is roughly 55% linoleic acid and 20% α-linolenic — closer to skin sebum than any other common plant oil. Smoke point is low (≈ 165 °C), so cold-pressed, dark-bottle, refrigerated storage is the rule. Not for frying; for finishing.

Not CBD
Hulled hemp seeds contain essentially no THC and no CBD — those cannabinoids live in the flowering tops, not in the cleaned seed. The 'hemp seed oil contains CBD' claim is a labelling confusion the FTC and UK ASA have actioned multiple times. Hemp food and CBD are separate categories.
